Who is responsible

AscendRev Outsourcing Services Corp. is responsible for the personal information described here. We are registered in Canada and based at Calgary, AB, Canada. Questions, requests and complaints about privacy go to rio.vidal@ascend-rev.ca.

What we collect

The enquiry form on our contact page is the only place this site asks you to provide personal information. Our web host may also process routine technical request data to deliver and secure the site. There is no account to create, nothing to subscribe to, and no newsletter.

When you submit an enquiry, we receive:

• • Your individual name (required).
• • Your business email address (required; free and disposable email addresses are not accepted).
• • Your entity name (required).
• • The best number to call you (required).
• • Comments describing the help you need (optional, up to 200 characters).

The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field that is not intended for you to fill in. We do not ask for a company website, operational-area selections, revenue or headcount ranges, or a budget in this form.

To limit abuse, the enquiry handler uses your IP address to check a rate-limit file and records a shortened hash derived from that address with a valid enquiry. The enquiry record does not contain the raw IP address. A hash derived from a network identifier may still be linkable to that identifier, so we treat it as personal information.

What we do not collect

AscendRev does not use analytics services, advertising pixels or social media pixels on this website. We do not use third-party tracking scripts to follow your activity across other websites. Our web host may process routine technical request data in server logs to deliver and secure the site; AscendRev does not use those logs to build advertising profiles.

We keep the site's own use of visitor information limited to the purposes described in this policy.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set cookies. If you change the appearance theme, your browser stores that preference in localStorage so the choice can be remembered. The page loader also uses sessionStorage to remember that it has completed once during the current browser session. These values stay in your browser and are not submitted with the enquiry form.

Why we use it

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to understand your requirements, to prepare a proposal or recommendation, and to keep ordinary business records of the conversation. That is the whole list.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is emailed to AscendRev and recorded by the website handler in a protected location on the web server. We do not route the form through a third-party form service. Our web host and email provider process the request and message as needed to operate the site and deliver the email.

Our email is provided by our email host, and our website is provided by our web host. Those two suppliers necessarily handle the message in the course of delivering and storing it.

Access from outside Canada

AscendRev delivers services using teams based in the Philippines. Our staff there may access enquiry information in the course of responding to you and delivering services. Personal information handled in another country is subject to the laws of that country, and may be accessible to its courts and public authorities.

We tell you this so you can consider where information may be accessed before you decide what to send us, not because it changes how carefully we treat it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them for the purposes above, and for as long as our business and tax record-keeping obligations require. When an enquiry no longer serves either purpose, we delete it. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

How we protect it

Enquiries sent through the HTTPS version of this site are encrypted in transit. By default, the website handler stores accepted enquiries outside the public website directory. The configured storage path and file permissions depend on the hosting setup. We limit access to people at AscendRev who need the information to reply to you.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a personal data breach meets the notification threshold under applicable law, we will notify the relevant regulator and affected people as that law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we have used it.
• • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• • Delete what we hold, subject to any records we are required to keep.
• • Stop contacting you.

Write to rio.vidal@ascend-rev.ca. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else. We will respond within thirty days. If applicable law allows an extension, we will tell you within that period why more time is needed and when we expect to respond.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, where relevant, the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we update this page and change the date at the top. We do not make material changes quietly.
